In the spirit of the exclusive candles "Les Mondes de Diptyque", the brand now unveils its new high-perfumery collection "Les Essences de Diptyque". The concept ? Endow five unscented treasures of nature, which fascinate and awaken the senses with their own scent: coral, mother-of-pearl, bark, water lily and sand rose.
Emotional, sensory and poetic, four video capsules plunge us into the heart of an artist's studio, amid Nigel Peake's still lifes. The Essences' bottles are perceived as works of art, and fragrance rises, as if alive, with its own energy. A nod to the surrealist touch of "Les Mondes de Diptyque", with its levitating flames. An ethereal music composition by Flavien Berger adds even more subtlety to the capsules.
The aim was to create a collection of statutory assets with a real group dynamic and a highly distinctive touch.
We've also highlighted the perfume bottle itself, emphasizing its timeless design by focusing on its cap, chiseled profile and volumes. It is adorned with the famous Diptyque oval, which becomes a window onto the world, enclosing a delicate engraving inspired by Nigel Peake's sketches.
Then we immersed ourselves further in each fragrance, with a set of “ingredient” assets that enhance each of the collection's natural beauties.
Since Diptyque makes it a point of honor to promote the arts and know-how, we were finally given the opportunity to showcase the two artists behind Les Essences de Diptyque : contemporary artist Nigel Peake, with a flight over his drawing table, and singer-songwriter Flavien Berger, with a drop of perfume dancing in its bottle, to the rhythm of the music.
